Is Concierge Physical Therapy Right for You?
In-home physical therapy is not just for people who can't leave the house. Here's who benefits most — and how our concierge model actually works.
Concierge physical therapy — sometimes called in-home PT — is more accessible than most people realize. Here's how to think about whether it fits your situation.
## Who it's designed for
Four groups get the most out of concierge care: post-surgical patients in early recovery, older adults for whom travel is difficult, busy professionals whose schedules make a mid-day clinic visit impractical, and anyone recovering from a condition that makes leaving home harder than it should be.
## What actually happens in a home visit
A licensed clinician arrives with the equipment the session requires. Treatment is uninterrupted, private, and one-on-one from start to finish. The plan is designed around your actual living environment — the stairs you climb, the counter you cook on, the chair you get out of every morning.
## Coverage and scheduling
We cover Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. Most major PPO plans and Medicare accept in-home physical therapy for eligible patients, and private-pay options are available with no referral required. Appointments — including evenings and weekends — are typically available sooner than at a traditional high-volume clinic.
## When the clinic is a better fit
Some situations benefit from clinic equipment we can't bring to a home visit — advanced gait training, complex return-to-sport work, or shockwave therapy. We'll tell you honestly which setting fits your case.
